System overview

Urban water supply pipe network leakage monitoring system is based on the DMA system, SCADA system and GIS system, the different function of the three system integrated data analysis, revenue management, and other auxiliary decision-making system, USES the Internet of things technology, remote measuring equipment data gathering pipe network detection, through accurate calculation and analysis, to achieve "the network equipment testing control, network flow rate and pressure balance, leakage detection control, water quality detection, accurate and efficient scheduling, network safe and efficient operation, visual monitoring management, fine management" the wisdom of water comprehensive management platform.

The system is highly integrated and optimized with modular DMA (partition metering leakage assessment and analysis system), SCADA (remote acquisition and control system) and GIS (geographic information system).

System principle

1. Through the comprehensive exploration of the underground pipe network and the sorting of historical data, the geographical location, depth, length, pipe diameter, node and other data of the pipe network are obtained, and the geographic information database of the water supply pipe network is established.

2. Divide the water supply area into multiple metering areas (DMA) according to the service area, length of pipe network, geographical environment and other factors of the pipe network, and install measuring instruments, pressure sensors, noise sensors and other measurement and control RTU at key nodes of the pipe network for node detection.

3. Through real-time monitoring of the flow, pressure, noise and water quality of the water supply pipe network, remote collection, storage, analysis, calculation and evaluation, the leakage and loss situation of the pipe network can be quickly determined. The management personnel can carry out remote equipment control, parameter adjustment, fault warning, production scheduling and other operation management according to the operation state of the pipe network. 

4. Through computer, Internet of things and GIS technology, remote data collection and detection of pipe network and operation data statistics are conducted to provide scientific and reasonable basic data and auxiliary decision-making for pipe network modeling, water supply operation scheduling, pipe burst processing and engineering construction management.
